Project: Velaris

An open-plan office encourages collaboration and keeps the workspace feeling open. But it can also bring too many distractions and not enough quiet for focused work.

When designing Velaris' office in Breda (8 workstations), one question was at the heart of the project: how do you combine openness with focus, while maintaining flexibility? 

The solution: flexible sit-stand desks and ergonomic office chairs, allowing everyone to adjust their workstation to their own preferences, even when switching desks. Planter cabinets create a natural separation between workstations, complemented by desk dividers. Two phone booths and a dedicated meeting room provide quiet spaces for calls, meetings, and focused conversations.
